We use your data to provide and improve CV Reformat AI, to process your account and credit purchases, to communicate service updates and support, and to comply with our legal obligations. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (improving the platform and preventing fraud).
The CVs you upload belong to third parties (your candidates). You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to process their data under UK GDPR. We act as a data processor on your behalf for this data. CV content is used only to perform the reformat you requested and is not used for training AI models or shared with third parties outside the service.
All data is stored on servers located within the UK or EEA. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. CV files in your queue history are retained for 90 days after processing, then deleted automatically. You can delete reformatted CVs from your history at any time.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@cvreformat.ai.
